The 5 micron carbon block filter included in the Metpure 4.5"x20" Filter (FI-CTO20113285) effectively reduces chlorine, taste, and odor. It is also efficient in removing volatile organic carbon compounds and solvents, with great dirt holding capacity.

This universal and compatible replacement filter is suitable for use in many standard 20" x 4.5" reverse osmosis whole house filtration systems. It is compatible with a variety of popular filter models, including ClearChoice 84642 and 84641, Hydronix CB-45-2005, iSpring FC25B, Pelican CB-BB-20, 155783-43, EPM-20BB, and CBC-20BB, Pen-tek, Trojan CB-BB-20 and CB-45-2010, and Watts WCBCFF20, among others.

Manufactured with high purity 100% coconut shell activated carbon, the filter is then compressed into block form. It is wrapped with dense PP food-grade non-shedding fabric, preventing carbon filter water fines from entering the filtered water. This ensures optimal filtration results and service life, providing healthy and safe water.

For safe use, it is recommended to flush the filter with at least 3 gallons of water prior to usage or until black carbon residue disappears. Designed to minimize the release of carbon fines during initial flush and usage, the filter has a temperature rating of 40°F to 125°F (4.5°C to 51.6°C) and a service life of 6-12 months or 51,000 gallons (193,000 L).

To avoid the danger of suffocation, the plastic wrapper should be kept away from babies and children. It is not a toy and should be discarded immediately after removing the product.
