Unlike greensand, the catalytic media used in this filter is not consumed during the process, allowing it to last up to 3 times longer. In addition to iron and manganese, the whole house water filter set also removes sediment, chlorine, rust, herbicides, industrial solvents, and various other contaminants.

Our water filter set is compatible with standard housings that require 20" x 4.5" whole house water filter cartridges, including brand name models. The 20" x 4.5" whole house water filter replacement cartridges have a minimum impact on water flow (up to 15 GPM) and require minimal maintenance.

The whole house water filter replacement cartridges are individually wrapped to ensure freshness. Please unwrap the cartridges before use. For well or pond water with very high iron or manganese levels, we recommend considering the iSpring WCFM500K or WCFM400K whole house water filters. Unlike reverse osmosis (RO) membranes, these whole home water filters do not reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), but instead, they maintain the healthy minerals in your water.
