These membranes can efficiently remove contaminants like heavy metals, including fluoride, calcium, magnesium, lead, colloids, chromium, and nitrates, as well as organic materials, rubber mass, harmful minerals, and other soluble salts from water.

With a universal size of 11.75 x 1.75 inches, MS RO membranes fit most 10-inch industry-standard RO systems. They are compatible with a wide range of RO systems, including APEC Water Systems, Aquatic Life, Express Water, GE, H2O Splash, Hague, Home Master, iSpring, Max Water, and PureGen, among others. However, they may not be compatible with systems with specific RO housing designs, such as Culligan, EcoWater, GE, Microline, Neo-Pure, Rainsoft, Watts Premier, and Whirlpool.

The membranes are made from 100% food-grade Thin Film Composite (TFC) material for ultimate purification performance. Membrane Solutions recommends rinsing the elements for 24 hours before first use to meet NSF/ANSI 58 standards, and discarding the first full tank of permeate. To prevent biological growth during prolonged system shutdowns, it is recommended to immerse the membrane elements in a preservative solution and rinse out the preservative before use.
